CASPER BEAUSANG... a staple, beautiful object to reach for on the dressing table.
Casper Beausang is a collaboration between Olivia Roat and friend, the beautiful fine jeweller Isabelle Rowe. Both in search of jewellery to wear in their hair that made a subtle, considered statement. They wanted feminine and strong pieces and having not come across that, they decided to make them.
Historically hair adornments are one of the earliest forms of jewellery; worn for practical necessity but also as a symbol of status, ritual, ceremony and beauty. Their ambition is to bring them back into focus. Their pieces take inspiration from Japanese Kanzashi to Roman Londinium artefacts and combines myth and celestial story with warrior beauty and feminine symbolism. Designed in their London studios, produced in both the UK and in Thailand by a family run, ethically responsible workshop. The pieces are sterling silver, 18ct gold vermeil and semi-precious gemstones.
